Since the founding of the company Beach Solutions® has partnered
with companies, participated in standards bodies and even founded
organizations where a gap in the industry has been identified.
Below is a list of the key organizations with which Beach Solutions
has partnered or is otherwise affiliated.
Beach Solutions is a proud member of the OCP
International Partnership community. The OCP standard
interface is used within some of the most complex SoCs in
the market today. The Beach Solutions EASI Tools Suite has
been used in some those designs, and Beach Solutions continues
to support the community and build support for the standard
within the tools.
Beach Solutions is a proud member and co-founder of The
SPIRIT Consortium (Structure for Packaging, Integrating
and Re-using IP within Tool-flows). The SPIRIT Consortium was
founded in 2003 by ARM, Beach Solutions, Cadence, Mentor Graphics,
Philips, STMicroelectronics and Synopsys. The SPIRIT Consortium
is developing standards for IP description as well as raising
automation levels, improving ease-of-use and increasing flexibility
in IP selection and integration.
The SPIRIT Consortium standards will enable this by providing
an optimized design flow from architectural design through system
simulation to chip layout. Complying with the standards will
enable IP suppliers and tool vendors to offer immediate, proven
solutions, helping system manufacturers develop complex 'first-time-right'
SoCs and guaranteeing rapid release to market.
Beach Solutions is a proud member of the Cadence
Connections program. The Beach Solutions EASI Tools Suite
supports the Incisive Plan to Closure and the e Reuse Methodology
(eRM) from Cadence. Specifically, EASI Verification auto-generates
in the Cadence® SpecMan Elite e language the Register and Memory Package
(RMP) used in the creation of functional verification test
benches.
In addition, many Beach Solutions customers use the documentation
auto-generation tools within the EASI Tools Suite to maintain
consistency between design and verification teams – an essential function given the thousands of registers that
now reside within leading edge system-on-chip designs.

Connected Community.
Many of Beach Solutions customers leverage the automation
tools within the EASI Tools Suite in their complex ARM–based
system-on-chip (SoC) designs. Leading edge ARM based designs
contain dozens of cores and thousands of registers that need
to be managed throughout the design process. Beach Solutions
EASI Tools Suite is used to manage registers and generate
hardware, software, verification and documentation deliverables
to accelerate the overall development schedule of SoCs.

The EDA Consortium seeks to identify and address issues that
are common to its members and the customer community that
the member companies serve. The Beach Solutions EASI Tools
Suite addresses the largest issue faced by SoC development
teams today – the management of the thousands of registers
and the auto-generation of the hundreds of deliverables used
in the SoC development flow and system integration post-manufacturing
are two of the challenges common to SoC development teams
that Beach Solutions is addressing.
