EASI Advanced
This upgrade package provides the user with features to auto-generation printed and web-based documents for immediate publishing. This package has proven to save months worth of technical writing resources and increase the quality of product documentation and downstream design significantly.
EASI Power
This package for hardware developers delivers auto-generation of RTL descriptions for IP register block and bus interfaces. This package has proven to save months worth of engineering resource time, increase the quality of hardware design and decrease the risk of bugs dramatically.
EASI Developer Suite
This product extension enables the user to customize the Beach Solutions EASI Tools Suite to meet internal requirements and standards to ease tool flow integration and interoperability.
Three-Step Methodology
Beach Solutions promote a three-step methodology:
Capture, Validate and Generate.
Capture
Register and memory map data associated with an IP block
used in an SoC design is captured in a centralized EASI
Tools Suite database using automated importers or the
intuitive and powerful graphical application. Only when the
design changes, is the data edited and automatically made
available to the entire team through different tools within the
tools suite.
Validate
Once the data has been captured, it is validated for
correctness using a sophisticated design rule checker, or
DRC. The DRC is highly extensible enabling the user to
include company specific checks managed through a rules
management application. Instead of the engineer wasting
valuable time visually checking code for correctness or
maintaining a collection of scripts, EASI Tools Suite
immediately indicates where warnings and errors have
occurred within the captured register data.
Generate
The EASI Tools Suite contains a large array of generators
for hardware, software, verification, and documentation
deliverable auto-generation. These dramatically improve
SoC development team productivity and lower the risk of
errors dramatically. All auto-generated deliverables are
derived from the single centralized database and represent
different views of the same data to be used for different
parts of the system integration process. For example, a PDF
view for documentation, an RTL view for hardware
integration, an e view for verification testbench
development, and a C view for firmware development.
